Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to keep an inventory of our bookstore merchandise. Instead, we invite you to come browse our shelves for any particular books, or to see what you stumble upon. Isn't the mystery part of the fun!?

Our book traders program is free to join! Simply sign up by bringing in your gently-used books for credit to be applied toward more books from our bookstore. Signing UpWhen you sign up, we will take your name, phone number, and address to create an account in our system.* *None of your personal information will be sold or used for marketing in any way. This is simply used to verify you in our system as you redeem your credit.Earning Trade CreditOne of our associates will process your books and your credit will be logged in your account. For gently-used books, we guarantee at least 10% of the original retail value to be given in trade credit. Checking Trade CreditIf you would like to check the amount of credit in your account, simply ask one of our associates to look it up! This can be done in-person or by calling the store. Spending Trade CreditTrade credit can only be used on purchases of books, DVDs, or audiobooks from our bookstore. No trade credit can be spent on items from our other vendors. Your trade credit may be used for up to 75% of your book purchase. (Example: you are purchasing $10 worth of books from our store. You may apply up to $7.50 of trade credit to your purchase if it is available in your account).

No, our book trade program operates on trade credit only. Trade credit may be used toward the purchase of books, DVDs, and audiobooks from our bookstore only. Please see "How does trade credit work?" for more information.

Yes! We have board books, picture books, early reader, chapter books, and middle grade books!

We take 60% off the retail price printed on the book. (Ex. On the back cover, a book is priced at $12.99 retail. Our price is $5.20). If there is no printed price, we look it up and write the retail price on the top corner of one of the first pages or inside cover.

We are looking for gently-used books of all genres and reading levels. Gently-used means minimal markings, creases, or tears and that hardbacks have their dust covers. We will accept books in other conditions, but we cannot guarantee the 10% of their original retail value in trade credit as they are likely to go to our "upcycling library" for crafting and other purposes.

We will accept antique books, but we still adhere to our trade credit policies. No cash will be given, and trade credit will be based on condition and original retail value. We recommend individuals looking to sell antique books contact a book dealer.

Yes of course! We appreciate donations to our bookstore! However, we do not hold any non-profit status and your donation will not be elligible for tax deductions.
